We all know that things between Bobby Orr and the Boston Bruins didn't end as smoothly as hoped and a former player has shared why.

Orr's agent Dan Eagleson is famous for how things went down between the two sides, and apparently he hid a major contract detail from his client.

From Potential Part-Owner to an Ugly Breakup

Former coach and player of the Bruins, Mike Millbury, appeared on the most recent episode of Spittin' Chiclets and shared the story of how Bobby Orr could have been part owner of the organization. Check it out:

Eagleson did have a right to be upset after the Bruins dropped their offer from $4 million per season for 10 years, to $295K and 18.6% ownership of the team. The team was obviously worried as Orr had just undergone one of several knee surgeries.

The big problem was that Orr had no idea of any new offer before Eagleson already declined it.

It was also later revealed that he had a personal relationship with the Blackhawks owner at the time, Bill Wirtz, which is the team Orr ultimately signed with.
