"I distinctly remember Stastny alluding to the possibility of retirement recently."

While an official announcement is anticipated prior to the start of the forthcoming season, the sentiment is clear.
Stastny leaves behind an impressive legacy, having graced the ice in 1145 NHL games with the Avalanche, Blues, Jets, Golden Knights, and Hurricanes.
His remarkable tally of 822 points, including 293 goals, paints a vivid picture of his remarkable 17-year journey.
