BREAKING: Former Bruins player has officially signed with another team

Boston Bruins general manager Don Sweeney's previous comments hinted at the unlikelihood of free agent Tomas Nosek returning to the Black and Gold, and those assumptions were confirmed on Wednesday.

The New Jersey Devils officially announced their acquisition of Nosek, signing him to a one-year contract valued at $1 million.



Having spent the past two seasons with the Bruins, the 30-year-old forward contributed significantly to the team's efforts. Last season, he amassed 18 points, showcasing his scoring ability with seven goals and contributing 11 assists.


In the previous campaign, Nosek's impact was equally notable, as he notched 17 points, primarily through 14 assists.

Nosek's transition to the New Jersey Devils will mark his ninth season in the league, having previously played for the Detroit Red Wings and the Vegas Golden Knights, in addition to his time with the Bruins.
