First Female Set to Coach a Game For the First Time In NHL History

In a groundbreaking moment, the NHL is set to witness history tonight as Jessica Campbell, assistant coach for the Coachella Valley Firebirds, joins the coaching staff of the Seattle Kraken for their game against the Calgary Flames.

#SeaKraken will welcome @Firebirds assistant coach, Jessica Campbell behind the bench tonight at @ClimateArena for the matchup against Calgary.

She is believed to be the first woman to coach an NHL game.





While women have previously held trainer roles on NHL benches, Campbell is set to make history as the first woman to coach a game in the league.
