Pastrnak Joins Jaromir Jagr as Only Czechs to Accomplish Feat

David Pastrnak has continued his career-high season and his latest of accolades may be the most important for him personally.

With a 2-1 goal against the Penguins today, Pastrnak officially recorded his first 100 point season in the NHL, and with it, joined a legend from his home country of Czechia.

As per NHL Public Relations:


* David Pastrnak (Havirov, Czechia) became the second Czech-born player in League history to record a 100-point season, following Jaromir Jagr (5x).




Pasta added two more for the hat-trick and is now up to 56 goals and 46 assists through 76 games played this season. With his 100th point, he also became just the third Bruins player in the last 25 years to do so. Pastrnak follows Brad Marchand (36 G, 64 A in 79 GP) and Joe Thornton (6 G, 65 A in 77 GP).

Adam Oates has the most points in a season for the Bruins, as he had 112 during the 1993-94 season.
