QMJHL takes a major stand against fighting in hockey

Now, the QMJHL is reportedly taking a major stance against fighting, as it has made the decision to ban fighting entirely.
Tony Ferrari of The Hockey News shared the story:
''The QMJHL is planning to have a rule in place that will ban fighting, making it black and white that it is no longer a part of our game.''
The end of fighting in hockey could be right around the corner and the #QMJHL is spearheading the movement.

The league has yet to determine what the punishment for fighting would be, however, prior reports suggest that punishments would include match penalties for any players involved.
Let's hope this doesn't lead to fighting leaving all professional hockey!
