Controversial list surfaces regarding the Bruins top left wingers

The Boston Bruins boast an illustrious history filled with triumphs and Stanley Cups since their establishment in 1924.

Among the many positions, left-wing has seen some incredible talent don the Spoked-B. Let's take a look at seven of the greatest left-wingers to grace the team:

Sergei Samsonov (1997-2006): Drafted eighth overall in 1997, he won the Calder Memorial Trophy as Rookie of the Year and recorded 164 goals and 212 assists during his eight years with the Bruins.

Milan Lucic (2007-2015): Known for his physical play, he contributed 139 goals and 203 assists in his time with the team, and was a pivotal part of the 2011 Stanley Cup-winning squad.


Don Marcotte (1966-1982): A member of Boston's checking line, he tallied 230 goals and 254 assists over 15 years, helping secure two Stanley Cup championships.

Woody Dumart (1935-1954): Part of the legendary "Kraut Line," he played 774 games and played an integral role in two Stanley Cup wins.

Wayne Cashman (1965-1983): With an impressive 17-year tenure with the Bruins, Cashman contributed 277 goals and 516 assists, becoming an essential member of the Stanley Cup-winning teams in 1970 and 1972.

Brad Marchand (2010-Present): Still an active player, Marchand's tenacious style has earned him recognition as a formidable force on the ice. With 372 goals and 862 points, he's already etched his name into Bruins history.

Johnny Bucyk (1957-1978): A Bruins icon, Bucyk's 21 seasons with the team saw him become the franchise's all-time leader in goals (545) and game-winning goals (88). He was a key contributor to two Stanley Cup victories and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1981.

Though the times have changed, these left-wingers left an indelible mark on Bruins history, and their contributions will be remembered and celebrated for generations to come.
