In a well-deserved recognition of his coaching prowess, Jim Montgomery of the Boston Bruins has been awarded the prestigious Jack Adams Award for coach of the year.


With this accomplishment, the Bruins now boast an impressive total of five Jack Adams winners, solidifying their status as one of the most successful franchises in the NHL.

Montgomery joins the esteemed company of past Bruins coaches who have claimed the award, including Don Cherry in 1976, Pat Burns in 1998, Claude Julien in 2009, and Bruce Cassidy in 2020.
