Boston has always been known for having one of the most passionate fanbases in the NHL, and Jeremy Swayman knows it, as he shared praise for the Bruins' faithful.

The latest win over the Maple Leafs was a great example of that when the Bruins delivered a lacklustre performance through nearly 50 minutes.

Getting a Boost From the Crowd

Swayman stopped 31 of 32 shots in the 2-1 comeback OT win over the division rival Toronto squad, and noted how the TD Garden crowd played a massive part in that.

''It felt like a playoff atmosphere out there tonight. You know, it's a different crowd when your ears start ringing in your helmet, you know, and that's, that's what happened that gave me chills.''

‘'That's why we play. That's why the city is so special to play in front of, and yeah, I think it was a good preparation game. But again, we're just having two points. And now we're focused on New Jersey.''

As Swayman eluded to, the game against the Maple Leafs was important in a couple of ways. First, it was important to finally have another playoff type feel game before the postseason, and it puts the Bruins two wins shy of the single-season record.

The 24-year-old has completely turned it around after rough start to the season. He's now improved to 22-6-4 record, a 2.20 GAA, a .921 SV% and 4 shutouts.
