The Boston Bruins are gearing up for their game against the Detroit Red Wings with some major changes in their lineup.

It's a move that's catching everyone by surprise and shows the team's commitment to bringing out the best on the ice.

Up front, the first line boasts Pavel Zacha, Morgan Geekie, and David Pastrnak leading the charge. The second line is all about the dynamic trio of Brad Marchand, Charlie Coyle, and Jake DeBrusk.

A fresh vibe comes with the addition of James van Riemsdyk, Georgii Merkulov, and Trent Frederic on the third line, while the fourth line sees Danton Heinen, John Beecher, and Jakub Lauko.

On the defensive end, there's a power-packed duo with Mason Lohrei and Charlie McAvoy. Hampus Lindholm and Brandon Carlo anchor the second pairing, and Matt Grzelcyk teams up with Kevin Shattenkirk to complete the defensive trio.

Between the posts, it's Jeremy Swayman taking the starting role, with Linus Ullmark as the backup.
