On January 16, Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney revealed a strategic move, assigning goaltender Brandon Bussi to Providence.

The 25-year-old netminder has been a stalwart presence, participating in 20 games this season for Providence. His impressive stats include a 10-6-3 record, a 2.94 goals-against average, and a .901 save percentage.


Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 218 pounds, Bussi's impact extends to his overall AHL career, encompassing 57 games with Providence and boasting a commendable 35-13-7 record. Hailing from Sound Beach, New York, Bussi's journey with Boston began when he was signed as a free agent in 2022.
