The Boston Bruins shocked fans when they announced that Fabian Lysell was recalled to the NHL from the Providence Bruins in the American Hockey League.
It wasn't clear whether or not Lysell was going to make his debut with the Bruins, but moments before puck drop head coach Joe Sacco met with the media and revealed that Lysell was indeed going to be making his NHL debut with the Bruins.
With Lysell coming into the lineup, the Bruins needed to take a man out, and the opted to sit newcomer Oliver Wahlstrom and place Lysell on the third line with Frederic and Brazeau.

Fabian Lysell did not disappoint in his debut either, he looked good and even played a big part in the Bruins first goal of the game vs the Blue Jackets during his first NHL shift.
Although he did not register a point, this is definitely a moment he is going to remember for ever!
