The Bruins may finally be getting help as Arvidsson appears close to rejoining the lineup, a development tied to Boston Bruins injuries and Marco Sturm's cautious optimism.

According to Bruins insider Steve Conroy, it looks like Arvidsson will be joining the Boston Bruins for practice this morning, a notable step after missing time with injury.
Seeing him back on the ice immediately sparked chatter about whether he could dress tonight.
Earlier in the week, head coach Marco Sturm said Arvidsson was the closest to returning among the Bruins' five injured players. That comment now carries more weight with the winger taking part in morning work. Still, Sturm was careful not to promise anything.
The Bruins have felt the absence up front, especially at even strength where secondary scoring and puck pressure have been inconsistent. Arvidsson's return would help stabilize a forward group that has leaned heavily on its top line during this stretch.
Boston has been managing minutes carefully, trying to avoid overworking key players while staying competitive in the standings. Getting one body back, even in a limited role, could ease that strain as the schedule tightens.

Arvidsson nears Boston Bruins return

Just seeing Arvidsson back at practice feels like a small win after weeks of lineup uncertainty.
Arvidsson's game fits what Boston has missed. Before getting hurt, he had been quietly effective in driving play even when the points were not piling up.
The coaching staff will weigh risk versus reward carefully. Rushing a player back in December can backfire, especially with multiple injuries already testing organizational depth. Sturm's tone suggests Boston will only green-light a return if Arvidsson checks every box.
If he does play tonight, expectations should stay reasonable. Conditioning, timing, and game pace usually lag behind practice reps, and Boston may shelter his minutes early. Even so, his presence alone changes the look of the lineup.
Whether Arvidsson returns tonight or needs a bit more time, the direction is finally positive. For a Bruins team grinding through injuries, that alone feels like progress worth appreciating.
