Boston Bruins and Edmonton Oilers complete a trade: It just took an ugly turn

A completed trade between the Boston Bruins and Edmonton Oilers has taken a ugly turn, and fans are not happy.
This off-season, Don Sweeney ended up making a trade with the Edmonton Oilers to acquire Viktor Arvidsson.
Sweeney believed that Arvidsson could be the answer for the Bruins missing a top-six center.
But things have gone sideways, and Arvidsson has found himself being demoted to the third line recently.
Now fans are calling for Arvidsson to be taken out of the lineup.
Fans unhappy with Viktor Arvidsson
Bruins Cap Space in particular ended up calling out Don Sweeney and Cam Neely for something they said earlier in the off-season, and is now calling for Arvidsson to be benched.
Earlier in the off-season, Bruins management stated that players are going to have to earn their job, but it doesn't seem like that's the case.

If Sweeney and Neely were serious about «earning your job» mantra, Viktor Arvidsson would not be playing tonight.
He hasn't been dependable defensively and isn't doing enough on offense to make up for it. This goes back to preseason.
