With only a little over a month until hockey fans get to enjoy the 4 Nations Tournament, Brad Marchand has issued a statement on it.
This is going to be the first time many of the players around the league get to go and represent their home country on an international stage, which is something they have always dreamed about when growing up. Players are going to do whatever it takes to with for their home countries.
And this was confirmed on the weekend by Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand, who will be the only Boston Bruins player playing for team Canada at the tournament. Marchand sent a warning out to players ahead of the tournament.
The Bruins captain was asked about how physical he is expecting the tournament to be, and just after team Canada lost at the World Junior Championshop, Marchand made it clear that this tournament was going to be different.
Brad Marchand also stated that he expects fierce competition from all the nations that will be attending the tournament, and stated that the outcome of it is nearly impossible to predict.
Brad Marchand also admitted that Canada will be facing some big pressure since they were just embarrassed in a recent defeat on an international stage.
The Four Nations Tournament is set to be hosted in Boston and Montreal, and Marchand stated that he is looking forward to not being booed by the crowd at the Bell Centre in Montreal for once.
