Boston Bruins Confirm Two Players As Healthy Scratches
The Boston Bruins have confirmed that these two players will be healthy scratches for their game tonight.
Entering their game tonight, the Bruins have confirmed that two players will be sitting on the sidelines.
It was confirmed that both Marc McLaughlin and Parker Wotherspoon are once again going to be healthy scratched tonight as the Bruins will not make any changes to their lineup from their game Saturday against the Buffalo Sabres.
Sacco: Swayman in net tonight. Same lines as Saturday vs. Buffalo.
Parker Wotherspoon has not seen a game since December 12th when the Bruins faced off against the Seattle Kraken, and ended up losing 5-1.
Marc McLaughlin on the other hand played in a game recently against the Edmonton Oilers on December 19th when they lost 3-2 in overtime.
It was revealed that McLaughlin has appeared in nine games this season, and if he plays another he will require waivers to be sent down to the American Hockey League, and that's the belief on why he has been a healthy scratch recently.
Marc McLaughlin will require waivers again if he plays one more game in Boston. Don't know if that's why he draws out, but it could be a factor. I think he's been playing well.
Here are the confirmed lines the Bruins will be running tonight vs the Washington Capitals:
