Boston Bruins win at a cost against the Montreal Canadiens
McAvoy endured a brutal injury, as he took a snapshot to the face from Canadiens' defenseman, Noah Dobson.
However, this talent isn't the only one who left this matchup with an injury.
As Viktor Arvidsson has been revealed to miss a good amount of time due to suffering a lower-body injury in the same game that McAvoy departed from.
New update surfaces regarding Viktor Arvidsson's injury
In the Boston Bruins' 3-2 win against the Canadiens, Viktor Arvidsson played a major role, as he would end up scoring the eventual game-winning goal in the second period.
Unfortunately, this talent would end up enduring a lower-body injury in the third-period with just over five minutes remaining in the game.
This injury caused him to leave the game and now return.
And according to head coach Marco Sturm's latest report, Arvidsson is going to miss a good chunk of time due to this injury.
Bruins reporter, Conor Ryan, revealed on social media, via "X", that Sturm stated Viktor Arvidsson is now week-to-week due to his injury.
Take a look:
"Sturm: Arvidsson is «week-to-week» with a lower-body injury."
