Boston Bruins Head Coach Joe Sacco Confirms Starting Goaltender Vs Calgary Flames
Joe Sacco has officially confirmed who the Boston Bruins will start tonight against the Calgary Flames.
The Boston Bruins are looking to build off of their dominate win against the Vancouver Canucks tonight against the Calgary Flames, and Joe Sacco has officially revealed who will be guarding the crease for them tonight.
Earlier in the evening, Joe Sacco confirmed that there would be no changes to the Bruins lineup, meaning fans will have to wait to see Oliver Wahlstrom's debut with the team.
This is probably a good thing for both the Bruins and Wahlstrom, as he has only participated in one practice with the Bruins, and this gives him more time to get use to the Bruins system.
With that being said, Joe Sacco is keeping the same goaltender in net tonight as they did in their previous game, meaning that Jeremy Swayman will get his second straight start for the Boston Bruins.
Swayman was solid against the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday stopping 19 out of 20 shots giving him a 1.00 goals against average along with a .950 save percentage.
The Bruins are looking to build off of their previous win and carry the momentum into Scoitabank Saddledome arena and beat the Calgary Flames. Puck is scheduled to drop at 9 p.m. Easter Time.
