Boston Bruins hit with more terrible injury news as prospect is out long-term
The Boston Bruins have just been hit with more hit with more unbearable news regarding another injury within the organization, as it has just been revealed that a promising prospect will be out long-term.
Boston has had their fair share of brutal injuries thus far into the 2025/26 NHL regular season, despite being so early into the season.
Yet, a new injury has surfaced, and this one's brutal.
Prospect undergoes injury that requires surgery
At this time, the Boston Bruins currently have six highly skilled prospects playing for the Boston College Eagles this season.
These players include: Dean Létourneau,
Oskar Jellvik, Kristian Kostadfinsky, Will Moore,
Andre Gasseau, and last but not least, newly acquired first-round draft pick of the 2025 NHL Entry Draft,
James Hagens.
However, one of these six prospects have just been confirmed to be out of the lineup, due to an unforeseen wrist injury that required surgery.
This prospect is senior forward, Andre Gasseau.
Boston College's senior forward, Andre Gasseau, has been absent from the Eagles lineup due to his injury, and new insight has revealed that his absence will be up until the new year.
This talent had been playing with the nagging injury earlier into the 2025/26 season, but luckily, since then, he has officially dealt with the injury head-on and finally underwent successful wrist surgery.
22-year old Gasseau was elected as captain this season and would potentially be eligible to sign his entry-level NHL contract with Boston after his current campaign.
