Brad Marchand breaks the silence on the Sam Bennett sucker punch
This morning following Boston Bruins skate, Brad Marchand finally spoke to the media about Sam Bennett's sucker punch during game 3.
Brad Marchand has been out ever since missing the past two games, but is hopeful to be back in the lineup for game 6.
Marchand stated that he has been on the oppisite side where he has gotten away with a cheap shot, and that hurting players is a part of playoff hockey.
Brad Marchand on Sam Bennett's punch:
«I think he got away with a shot. But I'm not gonna complain. Shit happens. I've been on the other side of a lot of plays. That's part of the game, part of playoff hockey. Sucks to be on the other side of it, but that stuff happens."
Marchand: «Nobody wants to say it, but trying to hurt other players is part of playoff hockey.»
