Former Boston Bruins captain, Brad Marchand, has just shared an extremely emotional video following a personal tragedy.

Recently, the Florida Panthers made an announcement regarding star forward, Brad Marchand, revealing this talent would taking a leave of absence from the organization due to a passing in his family.
His absence was revealed to be for Marchand to not only attend the funeral, but to also take care of family matters in this tough time.
However, this past Wednesday, an update had revealed more about Marchand's absence and the passing of a loved one.
Brad Marchand returned to his home in Nova Scotia to coach, as he stepped in for coach, JP MacCallum, following the devastating loss of MacCallum's 10-year old daughter, Selah, to cancer.
«On behalf of The Nova Scotia U18 Major Hockey League, we extend our deepest condolences to Coach JP MacCallum and his family on the tragic loss of his daughter, Selah.

In an incredible show of support and friendship, Brad Marchand and Andrew Bodnarchuk will step behind the bench to coach the Marchand & Mill Co. Hunters this Wednesday as they face the Halifax Macs, allowing JP to remain at home with his family during this difficult time.

This gesture reflects the true spirit of the hockey community in Nova Scotia, one built on compassion, loyalty, and connection that extends far beyond the rink.

Our thoughts are with JP, his loved ones, and the entire Hunters organization.
