Bruins defenseman Mason Lohrei was recently called out by head coach Marco Sturm for a terrible game, and tonight he ended up responding in an interesting way.

Instead of taking shots at him in the media, Lohrei decided to let his game speak for itself and had one of the best games in his career.
On Tuesday, the Boston Bruins ended up facing off against the Florida Panthers in Brad Marchand's return, and Lohrei had a really bad game.
Lohrei was at fault for two goals in the game, which ended up leading to the Bruins losing a very winnable game.
After the game, Sturm ended up calling Lohrei out to the media, blaming him for the two goals.
Take a look:
Sturm: «Those two goals were on [Lohrei]. Can't deny it.»

Lohrei lets his game talk

Charlie McAvoy and Mason Lohrei have been a terrible pairing for the Bruins and they finally decided to split them up.
It turned out to be a great choice, as Mason Lohrei ended up having one of the best games of his career against the Colorado Avalanche.
Lohrei picked up three assists, assisting on every goal the Bruins scored in their 3-2 win over the Colorado Avalanche.
Three assists for Mason Lohrei today. That ties his career high in both assists and points. That has to feel good after the last couple games.
He was a big part in the Boston Bruins picking up their first win, and ending their six game losing streak.
