After leaving game 2 with an injury, Boston Bruins fans started to think the worst case possible, and this is because many believed that he re-injured his knee, which caused him to miss basically the entire season last year.

Lindholm was not on the bench for the second period, and it was later posted that he would return to the game after suffering a lower-body injury.
UPDATE: Hampus Lindholm (lower body) will not return to tonight's game.
Fans started to once again think the worst case possible, and everyone was waiting to hear from head coach Marco Sturm following the game.
Sturm ended up stating that Lindholm is day-to-day with an injury that is not related to his knee injury last year.
Everyone was relieved to hear this news, but had to wait until practice on Saturday to hear an update.
The new head coach revealed ahead of their game against the Buffalo Sabres that Lindholm was scheduled to skate on Sunday morning at Warrior Ice.
After their morning skate on Sunday, Sturm once again stated that Lindholm was remaining day-to-day, and they making a no brainer decision to replace him in the lineup.

Jordan Harris has been impressive

Since Lindholm has been dealing with a bunch of injuries, the Bruins have to keep him out of the lineup until he is 100% healthy.
With the Bruins being just four games into the season so far, there is no need to rush him back into the lineup.
Harris has played great since replacing Lindholm in the lineup, scoring 1 goal, and 1 assist for 2 points in two games.
On the back end, Harris is a steady defender, and plays a simple game that fits into Sturms system.
There is a chance that once Lindholm comes back, Harris keeps a roster spot and a different defenseman comes out.
