The Bruins are wrapping up their four-game road trip tonight against the New York Islanders.

Recently, the Bruins have been struggling, losing four of their last six games, going 2-4-0, and a big reason once again has been due to goal scoring. In their last four games the Bruins have scored just seven goals.
Three of them came against the Anaheim Ducks, meaning the Bruins have only scored four goals in their three other games.
Of those seven goals the Bruins have scored, Morgan Geekie has been carrying them, scoring five of them.
Without Geekie, the Bruins would have been outscored 11-2 in their past four games. Marco Sturm has changed the lines up quite a bit, bouncing Geekie around the lineup, and he continues to score.
A big reason the Bruins have had a hard time scoring goals is due to Casey Mittelstadt, Viktor Arvidsson, and Charlie McAvoy all being injured. They just got Elias Lindholm back, but after missing nearly a month, it'll take him some time to get back into his groove.
Because of this, head coach Marco Sturm has healthy scratched two players to change things up, and one player is a surprise.

Bruins healthy scratch two players

The Bruins made some changes today at practice, it was revealed that Riley Tufte and Jeffrey Viel will be heatlhy scratched.
Take a look at the lines from practice:
Forwards:

Matej Blümel - Pavel Zacha - David Pastrnak
Marat Khusnutdinov - Elias Lindholm - Morgan Geekie
Tanner Jeannot - Fraser Minten - Mark Kastelic
Alex Steeves - Sean Kuraly - Mikey Eyssimont

Defense & Goalies:

Nikita Zadorov - Jonathan Aspirot
Hampus Lindholm - Henri Jokiharju
Mason Lohrei - Andrew Peeke

Jeremy Swayman & Joonas Korpisalo

Tufte has been good for the Bruins since being recalled, and seeing him come out of the lineup is a bit of a surprise.
It will be interesting to see whether or not these changes will make a difference for the Bruins tonight or not.
