Bruins head coach Marco Sturm provides an update on Elias Lindholm's injury
Heading into today's game, it was clear that Elias Lindholm was not going to be available for the Bruins, but head coach Marco Sturm provided an injury update on the forward.
Following practice yesterday, Sturm stated that Lindholm was going to be out for multiple weeks.
Sturm said Elias Lindholm is going for an MRI. He's going to be out a couple of weeks, said Sturm.
Lindholm ended up colliding with Sabres forward
Jordan Greenway during their matchup on Thursday night.
After colliding, Lindholm was in
visible pain, lying down on the ice, and needed assistance getting off the ice.
E. Lindholm and Greenway collide, looks like they clanged knees. Lindholm helped off, hopefully just a dead leg but doesn't look great.
Ahead of their game against the Hurricanes today, head coach Marco Sturm provided an update.
At practice yesterday, Sturm stated that he was going to get an MRI, which would give them a clearer picture of what's going on.
Well, according to Sturm,
Lindholm did go for his MRI, now it's time to wait for the results.
Sturm has no update on Elias Lindholm after he had an MRI yesterday.
It's not much of an update, but it's definitely better than nothing.
