Last night, the Bruins ended up losing their second game of the year to the Vegas Golden Knights, and their leader spoke out on one thing that was positive.

The Bruins ended up losing this chaotic game 6-5 to the Vegas Golden Knights, and now sit with 3-2-0 record.
Boston started off with the lead, scoring the first goal, and then had a 2-1 lead, but after that, the Golden Knights held the lead for the remainder of the game.
Starting off the third period, the Bruins ended up allowing the 6th goal in, and were trailing Vegas 6-3.
It looked like Vegas was going to have blow out victory over the Bruins, but that wasn't the case.
Boston ended up rallying, scoring two quick goals just over a minute apart, and had nearly 15 minutes left in the period to tie the game.

Pastrnak highlights the one positive from the Bruins loss

Ultimately the Bruins could not complete the comeback, and team leader, David Pastrnak spoke on the Bruins efforts to comeback.
«A lot of mistakes today,» Pastrnak said on Thursday, as seen on NESN's postgame coverage. «We had a lot of breakdowns that end up in our net. We had an amazing kill. 'Sway' (Jeremy Swayman) was standing on his head. We have to be better as a team. We showed fight back. That's pretty much the only positive from tonight's game.»

Even though the Boston Bruins played a competitive game against a top team, Pastrnak was not happy with them.
Not only was Pastrnak not happy, but neither was head coach Marco Sturm.
«That's not us,» head coach Marco Sturm said postgame. «I don't want to play that (high-scoring) game. I'm a defensive mindset coach, I would say, and it starts from there. Offense will come anyway, but you don't have to cheat the game.»

Game 2 of the Bruins three game road trip takes place tomorrow whenever they take on the Colorado Avalanche at 9 p.m.
