Bruins make big mid-game change and it instantly pays off for them

Bruins head coach Marco Sturm made some big line changes during the third period, and it instantly paid off for them.
The Boston Bruins and New York Islanders matched up for the second time in a week tonight.
Entering the game, the Bruins made
no changes since the last time these two teams played, but during the third period, Sturm decided to make some changes, and it paid off.
Boston was rocking the same lines up until late in the third period when Sturm made some lineup changes.
Bruins make changes, pays off instantly
Fraser Minten got bumped up to the top line with Khusnutdinov and Pastrnak, and Geekie got slotted with Kuraly and Kastelic.
At this point, the Bruins were trailing 3-2 to the Islanders after giving up an early third-period goal.
Not long after making these changes, the top line of Khusnutdinov-Minten-Pastrnak scored the tying goal with just under 5 minutes remaining in the third with all three players factoring in on the goal.

The game is currently tied and heading to overtime, where the Bruins will at least get a big point.
