Bruins Oliver Wahlstrom Issues First Statement After Being Claimed Off Of Waivers
Boston Bruins new comer Oliver Wahlstrom has issued his first statement since being claimed off of waivers by the Boston Bruins.
A couple of days ago, the New York Islanders made some moves, by placing Wahlstrom and Engvall on waivers, making them free to all 32 NHL teams if they wanted to claim them.

The Boston Bruins took full advantage of this and went out and claimed Wahlstrom off of waivers.

Wahlstrom was the 11th overall pick in the 2018 NHL Draft.
Wahlstrom did not make his debut in the Bruins most recent win against the Vancouver Canucks, but is expected to make his debut Tuesday night against the Calgary Flames.
The Boston Bruins held a practice today and it was the first time Oliver Wahlstrom ended up joining the team.
Following practice Wahlstrom made his first statement since joining the Boston Bruins, and he stated that growing up he was a Bruins fan, and that this is a dream come true for him to play at home where his family and friends live.

Oliver Wahlstrom on growing up a Bruins fan and being back in New England: "Ya I was a fan...I don't really know if it has sunk in yet...it's a dream come true to be back home where my family and friends live."
In 27 games with the New York Islanders for far this year, Wahlstrom has two goals, along with two assists for four points, and has a minus-6 rating on the year.
