The Chicago Blackhawks have been a very quiet team this off-season, and it's clear that they need some more offensive depth.

This could lead to them stealing a player from the Boston Bruins through a signing, that would provide them with some depth in their bottom-six.
Don Sweeney ended up kicking seven players to the curb ahead of free agency, and now one of those players may get a chance with the Chicago Blackhawks.

Blackhawks urged to sign Jakub Lauko

Michael DeRosa of The Hockey News is urging the Chicago Blackhawks to look at signing former Boston Bruins forward Jakub Lauko.
Don Sweeney elected to not tender a qualifying offer to Lauko ahead of free agency, and on July 1st he became a free agent.
He has yet to find a new home, and may be a good addition for the Chicago Blackhawks.
Last season, Lauko ended up spending the year split between the Minnesota Wild, and Boston Bruins setting new career highs with five goals, and 11 points in 56 games.
The Boston Bruins ended up reacquiring Lauko at the NHL trade deadline, when they sent Justin Brazeau to the Minnesota Wild.
He is known to be an eenrgy player, providing a lot of grit and toughness which makes him a sought after player.
With the Chicago Blackhawks still rebuilding, Lauko is still young enough that he could be a nice fit on the teams fourth line.
