Defenseman Charlie McAvoy to be demoted by the Boston Bruins

A Boston Bruins insider has proposed an idea that would see defenseman Charlie McAvoy get demoted.
Charlie McAvoy is one of the Bruins leaders, but they may have a better option on the top power play unit other than him.
Last season, the Bruins power play ranked dead last in the NHL with Charlie McAvoy as the quarterback.
Once he ended up going down with an injury during the 4 Nations Face-Off, Mason Lohrei ended up taking over the top power play unit.
Surprisingly, the Bruins were a much better team on the power play with Lohrei quarterbacking the top power play unit.
Now, an idea has been proposed to demote Charlie McAvoy off the top power play unit.
Mason Lohrei better suited for the Bruins top power play unit?
Currently the Boston Bruins are sitting 14th overall in power play percentage, which isn't terrible, but there is a chance that they could be better.
Insider Brian DeFelice believes that the Boston Bruins should have Mason Lohrei quarterbacking the Bruins top power play.
His reasoning is because McAvoy lacks the decisiveness and deception, which are both needed.
Lohrei on the other hand may try a bit too much at times, but he believes that he is the better candidate.
McAvoy can skate, pass & shoot well enough to be a power play quarterback. What he lacks is decisiveness, and deception when each are appropriate. He's either too predictable, or too hesitant far too often. Lohrei tries to do too much at times but is still the better option imo
It will be interesting to see if the Bruins do end up making this change.
