Boston Bruins general manager Don Sweeney has confirmed Linus Ullmark's fate with the Boston Bruins.

During the end of year press conference Don Sweeney spoke on the goaltending situation the Bruins will be facing in the off-season, and Sweeney made it seem like Linus Ullmark will not be coming back next year.

When speaking on the fact Sweeney said the Boston Bruins would be happy to sign Ullmark, but other GM's are going to call him about Ullmark and he is going to make calls to see what he could get for Ullmark.

Sweeney on Ullmark: "We were happy to sign Linus and in a perfect world we would keep the tandem because I think it's damn good. But we're going to explore opportunities. My phone is going to ring and I'm going to make calls."

With that being said it sure seems like Ullmark will not be back with the Boston Bruins especially with them prioritizing Jeremy Swayman, the Bruins will have around $13 million locked up in just goaltending.

It'll be hard for the Bruins to build a contending team with that much locked up in their goalies, it seems like the smart decision for the Bruins would be to explore and see what they can get for Ullmark in the off-season.
