Elias Lindholm officially leaves Vancouver: major news for the Boston Bruins
Recent reports suggest that Elias Lindholm is officially leaving the Vancouver Canucks and it would be major news for the Boston Bruins.
Leading up to the NHL trade deadline this year, there were a lot of rumours suggesting the Bruins were heavily pursuing at the time Calgary Flames forward Elias Lindholm.
Ultimately the Bruins felt they didn't want to pay that much for Lindholm, and the Vancouver Canucks ended up acquiring him, but heading into the off-season the Bruins are heavily linked to the UFA.
Elias Lindholm is set to be a free agent if the Canucks don't re-sign him, and with recent reports it looks like he will be walking in free agency.
Guess Lindholm is not staying? 👀
This is big news for the Boston Bruins as they actually have money to pursue a big name in free agency, and Lindholm might just be that guy!
While nothing is 100% confirmed just yet, these recent reports seem to suggest that the Bruins could have a good chance at acquiring him this off-season and finally getting that number one center they have been looking for.
As seen on Bruinslatest - Lindholm has officially left Vancouver
