Former Boston Bruins wife reveals shocking details after his death

Colby Cave passed away five years ago and the former Boston Bruins player's wife, Emily was asked about Colby recently.
Cave's Wife, Emily explained during the interview that Colby was born with a tumor. The tumor had shifted and caused his brain to bleed, of which no doctors knew of, and due to the size had they known and operated on it, they weren't certain he'd have lived much longer.
"Colby had been born with a rare tumor that was never detected," Emily said. "Unfortunately, that day the tumour shifted. The neurosurgeon told me that with how big it was, he wouldn't have lived long with it. Even if they operated, he said it probably wouldn't have done anything."
"I was also frantic," Emily added. "I went through every little detail thinking, 'What did I miss?' It was the first thing I said when people called. I would say to Colby's teammates, 'Was he OK with you guys? What did I miss?' It was torture and I went through that for so long."
