Former Bruins fan favourite Milan Lucic officially signs a new contract

A recent announcement just confirmed that former Bruins fan favorite Milan Lucic has signed a new contract.
During the off-season, Lucic ended up signing a PTO with the St. Louis Blues as he looked to return back to the NHL after not playing for the past couple of years.
Unfortunately, Lucic suffered some setbacks after suffering a couple of injuries, which led to him being let go from his PTO.
But the Blues stated that once he was healthy enough, they were going to sign him to an in-season PTO to see where he is at.
Army on Lucic: "He got banged up last couple of games. His PTO is obviously over. What we're going to do is we're going rehab him here and get him back health-wise to 100% and likely reconnect on an in-season PTO to get him up and running and see where he's at then." #stlblues
Well this morning, Milan Lucic ended up officially signing a PTO with their AHL affiliate.
Lucic signs with the T-Birds
It was just confirmed that Milan Lucic has signed a professional tryout contract with the Springfield Thunderbirds in the American Hockey League.

Lucic is looking to make a return back to the NHL after last appearing in just 4 games with the Boston Bruins in the 2023-24 season.
