Leading up to the Boston Bruins-Carolina Hurricanes game today, some game-changing injury news has surfaced.

On Thursday night, the Bruins lost one of their top players, Elias Lindholm, during their game against the Buffalo Sabres.
Lindholm and Greenway collided at center ice, with Lindholm's knee taking the worst as he was seen lying on the ice and needed help getting off the ice.
Sturm confirmed that Lindholm is going to be out for multiple weeks and will not be available for today's game.
Well, not only did the Bruins suffer an injury recently, but the Carolina Hurricanes have as well before their meeting with the Bruins, and it changes things as well.

Also on Thursday night, the Hurricanes were taking on the New York Islanders when one of their top players suffered an injury.
Seth Jarvis blocked a shot off his ankle during the third period, and following the game, head coach Rod Brind'Amour stated that it doesn't look good.
Take a look:
Rod Brind'Amour says it "doesn't look great" for Seth Jarvis, who left the game in the third period after a tough sequence, including this shot block.

The team will know more tomorrow.
The Hurricanes got some good news yesterday though, as Jarvis was skating at practice.
Seth Jarvis is skating today, BTW.
It will be interesting to see if he is able to play today against the Bruins or not.
