Entering the Bruins game on Saturday, it was clear that players weren't happy with their recent performances, and neither was the coaching staff.

Because of this, the Bruins ended up holding a closed-door meeting, and following the game today, goaltender Jeremy Swayman spoke on it a bit.
After the game, Swayman spoke on the performance the Bruins had today against the Avalanche, stating it felt good to beat one of the top teams in the league, especially after losing six in a row.
#NHLBruins Jeremy Swayman, "It feels good to beat one of the top teams in the League...It shows the resilience that we have in this locker room. It's something we can build on, and a lot can happen. It's early in the year. That's our mindset."
Furthermore, he ended up revealing that the Bruins recently held a long meeting behind closed doors, and it cleared up a lot of questions some Bruins players had.

Swayman stated that the Bruins went out and executed something they talked about, and they were happy with the results.
#NHLBruins Swayman, "We had a pretty lengthy meeting yesterday, and that was something that cleared a lot of questions for the guys. They executed today. Pretty happy with the results. We're just going to keep building, and it's just going to get better."
It's unclear what the Bruins had talked about during the meeting, but whatever it was, clearly it worked for the Bruins, as they ended up snapping their six-game losing streak.
Mason Lohrei played a huge role in that, picking up a point on all three goals the Bruins scored today in their 3-2 win against the Avalanche.
