Hampus Lindholm's injury just took an unexpected turn for the Boston Bruins

During just their second game of the year, Boston Bruins defenseman Hampus Lindholm ended up leaving the game after suffering a lower-body injury.

The Boston Bruins ended up announcing later in the game that he would not return, and fans suddenly got extremely worried, considering his previous health problems.

Last year, Lindholm ended up suffering an injury that would end his season just 17 games in.

Following the game, Bruins head coach Marco Sturm ended up giving a positive update on Lindholm.

Marco Sturm ended up stating that Lindholm's injury is not as bad as it seemed, and that it's not related to the injury he suffered last year.

He also went on to talk about how the Boston Bruins are going to test him today, and provide another update.

Just before the season began, the Boston Bruins ended up announcing Lindholm as the third alternate captain.

The reason he was named a captain, is due to his importance in the Bruins lineup, and also the leadership that he brings every game.

So far in two games, his offense has not been there, but the Bruins are a way better team with him in the lineup, and if they lose him for a long time, this would be a huge loss.
