This felt like a lift the Boston Bruins badly needed as Viktor Arvidsson officially returned to full practice.

The veteran winger was a full participant today at practice after weeks of recovery work. His presence alone brought energy, but the real story came when he slotted beside Casey Mittelstadt and Pavel Zacha.
That move suggested the Bruins are preparing him for meaningful minutes right away. Arvidsson started to thrive in that role before he ended up suffering an injury.
Boston has missed that spark. The offense has battled inconsistency during recent injuries, and Arvidsson's ability to attack off the rush fits perfectly with the club's need for more tempo.
With him being back at practice and on the second line along with Pavel Zacha and Casey Mittlestadt, all signs point to him returning back to the Bruins lineup tomorrow night.

Viktor Arvidsson return boosts Boston Bruins depth

Fans noticed immediately. With David Pastrnak still out, Boston needs a veteran who can create pressure without perfect conditions. Arvidsson fills that gap because he thrives on second efforts and quick reads.
The timing could not be better. Boston has a difficult road game tomorrow in Detroit, and all signs point toward Arvidsson rejoining the lineup. Sturm will make a final call after morning skate, but the staff rarely places a player in a full practice role unless a return is close.
Below are the practice reports that fueled the optimism.
If Arvidsson plays, Boston gains a proven scoring threat and a stabilizer for a lineup missing key stars. His return could be the spark that keeps the Bruins afloat during a challenging stretch.
