Ahead of their rematch tonight against the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Bruins just confirmed Charlie McAvoy's fate.
On Saturday, the Boston Bruins ended up travelling to Toronto for their game against the Leafs.
Moments before they ended up dropping the puck, it was announced that two players would not be in the lineup.
McAvoy was one of those players, as he did not travel with the team to Toronto due to a
personal reason.
Casey Mittelstadt was the other player who did not play. He also did not travel with the team due to an upper-body injury.
Charlie McAvoy is home because of a personal matter. Casey Mittlestadt (upper body) did not travel.
Yesterday at practice,
McAvoy returned back with the team, and now it was just confirmed whether or not he will be playing tonight.
Charlie McAvoy is here at #Bruins practice at Warrior. No sign of Casey Mittelstadt (lower-body injury).
McAvoy will dress for the Bruins tonight
Bruins head coach Marco Sturm confirmed following practice this morning that Charlie McAvoy will be back in the lineup tonight for the Bruins.
McAvoy has been a big part of the Bruins recent success. Having him back in the lineup tonight is going to be big.
