Ullmark was moved to the Ottawa Senators earlier this summer after general manager Don Sweeney was convinced that Swayman is the player to lead the Bruins through the next several years. The only issue is, they have yet to come up with a contract for him as it appears negotiations have been bogged down and nothing has been mentioned on the horizon.
This year's playoffs showed management that Swayman is ready to take the next step in his game, and having played 44 games in the season, he had a record of 25-10-8 and a goal against of 2.53 and a save percentage of .916 with three shutouts.
