Keith Yandle's name has frequently been mentioned during the NHL Trade Deadline over the last six seasons.
When Keith Yandle was traded to the New York Rangers in 2014-15, he chose the Big Apple and Beantown. Yandle ultimately chose New York, and in an interview on the Empty Netters Podcast, he stated he did not regret his decision. Between 2014 and 2016, the New York Rangers had a great squad, and Yandle was crucial to the team's success.
Keith Yandle was then approached about returning to Boston for the 2020-21 season. He stated that it was essentially a coin flip between the Philadelphia Flyers and the Boston Bruinsand added that he needed to consult with his family and friends to see how everything fit. His family preferred to see him play in Boston, but Yandle chose the latter and said he is grateful he chose the City of Brotherly Love.
