With the playoffs right around the corner, the Boston Bruins are slowly getting back to 100% healthy, with the latest update coming on Nick Foligno.
Return for Game One?
The Bruins were at Warrior Ice Arena on Wednesday morning for their last regular season practice of 2022-23, and with it, came an encouraging development on the veteran Foligno. According to Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic:
''Nick Foligno is practicing in a regular jersey.''
Foligno was in a regular practice sweater for the first time since being sidelined with a lower-body injury on February 28th against the Calgary Flames, and was placed on LTIR last week. The 35-year-old has had an impressive bounce back this season, with 10 goals and 16 assists in 60 games (13 points in 64 games in 2021-22).
Now, the question turns to whether Foligno will have a spot on the Bruins when the postseason starts.
