Major injury news surfaces ahead of Original Six matchup between the Boston Bruins and New York Rangers

Just a couple of days ago the New York Rangers were hit with some injury news, and it may change things tonight.
The Boston Bruins are officially back home after going on a four-game road trip where they went 2-2-0.
The Bruins are set to face off against another Original Six team in the New York Rangers, and some injury news has surfaced.
Along with the Bruins, the Rangers are also dealing with some injuries.
Just a couple of days ago, it was announced that the Rangers placed goaltender Jonathan Quick on IR with a lower-body injury.
Furthermore, Captain J.T. Miller and Will Borgen were skating but wearing non-contract jerseys.
It will be interesting to see if any of these players play.

Boston Bruins hit with injury news
Not only are the Rangers dealing with injuries right now, but so are the Boston Bruins.
On their road trip, they ended up losing another forward when Matej Blumel suffered a lower-body injury.
UPDATE: Matej Blumel (lower-body) will not return to tonight's game.
Marco Sturm confirmed that he is going to miss some time after leaving the game against the New York Islanders.
Along with that, the Bruins are entering today's game without Casey Mittelstadt, Charlie McAvoy, Viktor Arvidsson, and Jordan Harris.
