It seems there's no hard feelings towards the Bruins as this is just business and it was told that general manager Don Sweeney was looking to resign him, but it appears that the Pittsburgh Penguins had a better offer and general manager Kyle Dubas won his pitch.
Grzelyck signed a one-year deal worth $2.75 million. He will join Erik Karlsson, Kris Letang and Marcus Pettersson As part of the defensive core of this Pittsburgh team.
This deal and this player will certainly fill the hole that Grzelyck left and give the team a major upgrade at the same time with his physical play, timely scoring great defensive play.
The Bruins will continue to look towards upgrading their roster as they have 21 contracts signed and still $8.6 million in cap space.
