The Boston Bruins' coaching staff and upper management are now facing major backlash following a recent roster move.

This Original Six franchise has evidently made some questionable moves this year.
They've departed with some major cornerstone, announced a re-tool, completed several acquisitions of mostly bottom-six talents, and now, sent plenty of Boston Bruins to their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate team, the Providence Bruins.
Fans are ultimately frustrated, especially due to the fact the Boston Bruins sent top prospect, Matthew Poitras, down to Providence.
«Matt Poitras made the NHL out of training camp at 19, 20 and is now back in the AHL after recording 1.05 PPG while making it look relatively easy in that league. He's still a better option than several players and needs to play in the NHL to get better against NHL'ers.»

Marco Sturm speak out on Matthew Poitras since his send down

In a recent post on social media, via «X», a Bruins reporter revealed that Boston Bruins head coach, Marco Sturm, is pleased with how Poitras has been playing within Providence.
Take a look:
Sturm on the reports he's received out of Providence on Matthew Poitras, as well others like Lysell, Merkulov, etc. :

"The whole group has been excellent, so far, all of them. Some guys put up some numbers, some guys not, but Matty has been really, really solid."
However, a response was later made to this post by another Bruins reporter, revealing that Boston might be making the wrong decision with Poitras.
«Though I disagree (clearly) with the way Sturm has handled some guys, he doesn't have the option to use Matt Poitras and that's on management. This quote definitely makes it sound like he might want that option, though. No reason for Poitras to be in Providence IMO.»
