It seems like the Bruins could be interested in bringing a Florida Panthers player to their team after being eliminated by them in the second round.

The Boston Bruins ended up getting eliminated by the Florida Panthers in the second round of the playoffs in 6 games, but are looking to add some solid depth to the roster this off-season.

It has been reported by a Bruins insider that the Bruins could be eyeing a player from the Florida Panthers after being eliminated by them. Jimmy Murphy a well known Boston Bruins insider reported that the Bruins should and could be interested in Panthers upcoming UFA this summer Ryan Lomberg.

#TimeToHunt forward Ryan Lomberg would be a great UFA depth pickup for the #NHLBruins.

Cam Neely mentioned in the Bruins end of year press conference that the Bruins aren't as fast as they would like to be, and Ryan Lomberg would be the perfect guy as he also would bring some grit and experience to the Boston Bruins lineup.

Cam Neely: «We're not as fast as we'd like to be. We need to get a little faster.»

If Ryan Lomberg does hit the free agent market the Bruins have to be one of the teams to reach out to him as he could bring a big boost to the Bruins lineup come next year.
