Multiple Boston Bruins players still have yet to sign a contract
Two former Boston Bruins players are still without contracts, as we edge ever closer to the beginning of training camp.
James Van Riemsdyk is one former Boston Bruins who was an excellent addition to the Bruins' bottom-six.
He scored 38 points( 11 G, 27 A) in 71 games and offered some depth on the Bruins power-play units as well.
Van Riemsdyk is a great depth-scoring forward who could add leadership presence wherever he lands next.
He could also be a staple on the next NHL team's 3rd line, but for now we've heard nothing of a team ready to break out a PTO or standard player contract for JVR.
Another former Bruin left unsigned is Kevin Shattenkirk, who played 61 games with the Bruins scoring 24 points( 6 G, 18 A) and is known for his reliable play, and ability to play on both sides of the ice.
