It is now official: former Boston Bruins defenseman Zdeno Chara is a Hall of Famer.
"Chara was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame and the International Ice Hockey Federation Hall of Fame with the Class of 2025. The Bruins named him a hockey operations adviser and mentor Sept. 25 and announced his No. 33 will be retired before their game against the Seattle Kraken at TD Garden on Jan. 15, 2026."NHL.com wrote

Chara was an absolute fan-favorite talent who made a massive impact on the game.
This Stanley Cup Champion underwent a total of 1680 NHL games, where he accumulated 209 goals and 71 assists, totalling 680 points within his career.
He endured an absolutely outstanding career and has officially cemented his spot in the most sought-after achievement as an NHLer.
