New details have emerged on an injured Boston Bruins defenseman

An updated statement has revealed new details regarding Boston Bruins defenseman Jordan Harris' injury.
With the Boston Bruins just eight days into the 2025/26 NHL regular season, they have already been hit with some unfortunate injuries to their defense.
During the Bruins' campaign last year, injuries were one of the organization's biggest downfalls, as the team had an extremely hard time staying healthy, especially their defenseman.
This ultimately played a major role in why the Boston Bruins club had one of their worst seasons in years.
Now, it seems like history is repeating itself, as this Original Six franchise revealed that their blueliner, Jordan Harris, was placed on injury reserve.

Jordan Harris' placement on IR was revealed on social media, via «X», by Boston Bruins reporter, Scott McLaughlin.

It was later announced that this blueliners absence will be a minimum of seven days.
