The Boston Bruins Jeremy Swayman has decided to forego arbitration and continue negotiations with the team who drafted him. After last season he solidified himself as the Bruins top goalie.
Of which now, the NHL Network has highlighted the goalie, and his play during the 1st round of the 2024 NHL playoffs.
Swayman played 6 games in the 7 game series, with a 4-2-0 record, 9 GA, and a .950 save percentage.
He has indeed parlayed that into the starting goalie position for the Bruins, as they have sent Linus Ullmark to the Ottawa Senators, in return for Joonas Korpisalo as a backup netminder.
Swayman's last contract was a one-year $3.475 Million AAV contract and will hopefully be signed before the puck drops in October.
